Flagship Projects

Inland Container Terminal

We are developing and operating modern Inland Container Depots (ICD) along the Tema–Mpakadan freight corridor to streamline freight movement for commercial partners.

Clean Energy Access (LPG)

We are working with our partners to develop an LPG tank farm to enhance national distribution capacity and expand clean cooking access across Ghana. This project deploys CRM-based LPG delivery systems, improving energy efficiency and safety for households and industries nationwide.

Commercial and Industrial Solar Systems

Our energy subsidiary, V-Energies, is working with SunPower Innovations, A local solar EPC, to finance and deploy a portfolio of renewable energy systems across the country. Our goal is to build a portfolio of 20MW systems cross industries and different sectors in Ghana.

Maintenance

V-Rail provides comprehensive rolling stock maintenance through a skilled engineering team based in Ghana. Our engineers deliver ongoing support to the Government of Ghana and private rail operators, ensuring the reliable performance and safety of locomotives and coaches across our rail networks.

Ghana DMU Supply & Maintenance Contract

VAOB Infrastructure Group successfully delivered two (2) standard gauge diesel multiple unit (DMU) trains to Ghana’s Ministry of Railways Development under a supply and maintenance contract. As part of the agreement, VAOB is providing ongoing maintenance services for the trains over a five-year period. The total contract value is $14.6 million.

Tema–Mpakadan Freight Operations

V-Rail is launching the first freight service on the Tema–Mpakadan rail line, starting with 5 locomotives, 30 wagons, and 20 flatbeds. The service will move bulk cargo, containers, and industrial materials between Tema Port and the Mpakadan inland hub, which links directly to Volta Lake for smooth northbound and southbound cargo movement.
